In short
A supplier of cocoa powder, butter and liquor since 2002. Its buyers are chocolate and food manufacturers, who often open the site on a phone at a trade fair.
I gave the site one job: collect sample and quote requests. Conversion, not a brochure. The visual language comes from the company’s own technical data: colours from each product’s spec colour, the pattern from its fineness value.
imestafood.com is live in English and Turkish. Every product page offers a technical data sheet and a sample request, backed by trade fairs and technical articles.
What I did (07)
- 01Product pagesTwo calls on every product: download the TDS or request a sample. Table and sheet are generated from the same data.
- 02Spec as identityThe cocoa scale comes from the products’ real colours, the pattern from particle fineness. Its source is the company’s own data, so it can’t be copied.
- 03Two languages, ready for fourLive in English and Turkish; built so two more languages can be added.
- 04Technical notesArticles on cocoa powder, butter and liquor, with structured data for search engines.
- 05Trade fairsThe fairs the company attended, with photos, on one page.
- 06Domain migrationFrom .com.tr to .com; every old address redirects to its new page with a 301.
- 07Privacy and consentPrivacy notice, explicit consent for the newsletter and a cookie banner; analytics load only with permission.
Not a brochure,
a sample request.
On the phone
Buyers often open the link at a fair, on a phone. Mobile first isn’t a compromise here; it’s where the sale happens.
